BIG CHOP 1 MONTH POST UPDATE

December 10.2010 marks my 1 month annivesary since I big chop. Here are a few pics of my hair over the past Month.:-)

I'M TRANSITIONING FROM RELAXED TO NATURAL!!

yes yes yes!!! It's official. Ya girl has decided to transition from Relaxed to Natural.

My last Relaxer was on June 23, 2010. The plan is to transition for as long as I can-lol. and then cutoff the relaxed ends..

 My regimen right now still remains the same. I will have to adjust it as I progress in my journey and I will be sure to keep you guys posted.

As of right now I am a little over 3 months post relaxer and I am rocking a straight sew in. I've had it in for about a month. I will remove it soon and let my hair rest for about 2  weeks and reapply another protective style ( sew in or kinky twist).

Hair is Sensationnel New yaki  Premium too (blue package-i believe) .

12 inches in the front with 1b

14 inches in back 1b/33

Styled with middle part , no sides left out , no back left out, only front left out to cover tracks

5. I am about 7 weeks post relaxer and I am going for about 10-12 weeks. I will still texlax but I will smooth this time, I did not smooth last time and how my hair turns out will determine if I will continue to tex lax. ..Dealing with the 3 diff textures has really been a challenge but I love the thickness:-)!

HOW I REMOVE MY SEW IN VIDEO

Hey yall!!

 You guys know the Grow with me challenge is under way and its up until August.. I hope many of you have joined me and embarked on your personal hair journeys!

I have successfully removed my sew in after about 5 weeks. I am currently 6 weeks post and I plan to relax at at least 8 weeks. Or if I am bold enough I will try to strecth 10 weeks. I sel relaxed at 8 weeks post relaxer. And the outcome was good! If all goes wellover the next couple weeks I think I may continue to self relax. I am aiming to be more self reliant this year Wish me Luck!!
